Traffic Enforcement Agents Level III
Traffic Enforcement Agents perform work of varying degrees of difficulty in traffic enforcement areas. When required, an agent issues summonses to illegally parked vehicles, directs traffic at an intersection, testifies at administrative hearing offices and court, prepares required reports, and may operate a motor vehicle. Traffic Enforcement Agents at assignment level III are required to operate tow trucks. TEA III remove illegally parked vehicles where required, boot vehicles and voucher all impounded vehicles. TEA III are also responsible to relocate vehicles for special events .
